HOLIDAYS OVERLOOKING POOLE HARBOUR AND CORFE CASTLE
It’s a charming one-bed apartment with panoramic views of Poole Harbour, Brownsea Island, Long Island, Corfe Castle, and the Purbecks. For those sun worshippers amongst you, the newly refurbished and private balcony is the whole width of the lounge and faces due south, overlooking the harbour and islands.
The amenities are well thought through; the kitchen is fully loaded – with extra thoughtful touches like a coffee machine, fridge freezer, and dishwasher.
The furnishings are of a high standard in the double bedroom, a new 5’ bed, a TV and DVD player, there’s plenty of wardrobe space and lush carpet throughout.
The bathroom is ample with a bath incorporating a shower, and the lounge boasts a sofa bed, a recliner, a dining suite for four and Freeview TV along with a second DVD player.
One can walk to Poole Quay along the waterfront, it is just a mile to the west – and Harbour Shallows welcomes dogs too, so your best friend can get all the exercise
he needs immediately in front of the apartment, on the beautiful Whitecliff Waterside Park.
If dining out is your thing, the Sandbanks peninsula is only three miles away, with fabulous dining in the Sandbanks Hotel and Rick Stein.
There is a lot to be said for self-catering in terms of freedom, choice, and cost, and if you fancy a break in Dorset, Harbour Shallows holiday apartment has it all!
And there are a number of fabulous restaurants on the apartment’s doorstep – South Deep, which is a two- minute walk away across the park – breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the water, how magical. Patricks is just over half a mile away in Ashley Cross.
More adventures; why not grab a train to the New Forest from nearby Parkstone railway station for any number of stunning restaurants, including TerraVina, the Chewton Glen’s Dining Room, and Lime Wood or catch the Sandbanks Ferry to visit the Pig on the Beach – the open top Purbeck Breezer bus leaves from Sandbanks Road and drops right outside the Pig.
There is off-road parking at Harbour Shallows, it is on one level and winter breaks are as fabulous and memorable as the summer ones.
