of flavours and textures. The New Forest strawberries, pineapple and lemongrass sorbet and Szechuan pepper – again a burst of fresh and contrasting flavours – and then the epic salted caramel and chocolate bar with banana and malt – this is from Stacy and we want to give her an award ourselves at this juncture!
The cheeseboard closes another Roots success story – with all of the courses paired with some really interesting wines from Geza.
These menus are good value too – just over £40 for the seven-course and another £19 for the wine flight.
Get into Roots – it will give you something to talk about that fascinates other foodies, and you will be able to say that you actually dined there before its first Michelin star!
